#ProPlantTips For Care

Plant your new Purple FLAME Phlox in a sunny location! The colors will glimmer in the sunlight. They tolerate part shade too, so no need to stress about a location.

This plant thrives in growing zones 3-8. They're known for being strong, surviving some frosts with proper care! You northerners can enjoy vibrant colors of flowers too!

Water this plant regularly. You don't want the sun drying this plant out too much. Stay away from overhead watering, too.

Provide good air circulation to avoid powdery mildew. This shouldn't be an issue, though, as this kind of garden phlox is known for being disease resistant and has good mildew resistance.

As for soil, provide well drained soil. They will thrive even more in moderately fertile soil.

Pruning is recommended during late autumn to ensure the next blooming season goes well.

We recommend adding a little bit of summer mulch so the roots are kept cool and protected.

When planting multiple batches, plant them 12-14 inches apart so their roots can fully develop without feeling crowded.

Add life and color to your landscape by planting the Purple FLAME Phlox! Order your stunning perennial today!
