Brilliant Pink Iceberg Rose Tree loves the full sun, creating stronger stems and bountiful blooms. Thriving in USDA growing zones 5 through 9, these Rose trees do appreciate a thick layer of mulch over the root system to keep them cool and raise the moisture levels higher, especially in the hotter growing zones.
Iceberg Rose Trees do their absolute best in moderately moist soil and adequate moisture is a must during that crucial established period, for the longevity and health of these plants. Roses do not tolerate drying out or sitting in water. Very well-drained sites are required to keep your Rose Tree healthy and blooming.
To keep your blooms happy and your tree happy, apply a slow-release Rose fertilizer each spring and amend the soil with compost and rich, organic material. If drainage is an issue in your area or water pools in your planting site, try mounding or 'berming' the soil to create a raised planting site. Plant directly into this mound to bring your root system above the water level.
Some winter protection for Tree Form Roses is suggested for the colder zones of 5 and 6 and maybe 7 too by overwintering in an unheated garage after it goes dormant, or outside with stray and burlap wrap. Then in spring, take back out or unwrap and trim the head back to about a 12" sphere just as it begins to grow again in spring.
Brilliant Pink Iceberg Rose Tree is just the designer look your landscape has been craving! Elevate your garden design in every way with these gorgeous pink blooms. This renowned Iceberg has finally come to Nature Hills for your enjoyment, so be sure to give us a call as soon as these are in so you won't miss out on a single bloom!
