Great packaging on the delivery

Great packaging on the delivery. 3 of the 6 came very healthy and are growing well. 3 were extremely dry and I am hoping in time they will recover. Been about 3 weeks now and it’s been work to nurse them into growing some new leaves. Overall though I would buy from the nursery again!

Such a pretty color

Such a pretty color. Looks nice on patio where it was placed in a larger pot.Arived healthy and on time.

Apricot Drift does have a really good color, especially in a container where you can get up close to it. Glad it arrived in good shape and settled right into its spot on the patio. With regular deadheading through the season it should keep the blooms coming strong. Thanks for sharing, Mary!

The wrong color

The bushes arrived very small. Two of the Five I planted have bloomed. One was apricot and the other one is red. All five were suppose to be apricot. I reached out to customer service and received a reply that they were very busy but would get back to me. It has been over 1 week and I still have not heard back. I have no idea what colors the other three will be.

Apricot Drift Rose

These arrived bone dry. I planted them in containers immediately with good soil. 2 of the 3 I'm sure won't make it. All the leaves dropped and now I just have sticks. They're still green, but turning brown by the day. Expensive roses. I will request a refund.

Apricot drift rose

Very satisfied with the purchase.Delivered fast and in good shape.

Fast delivery and good condition on arrival are exactly what you want when ordering plants online, so glad this one checked both boxes, Carol. The Apricot Drift is a tough little rose that tends to settle in quickly, so keep an eye out for those first blooms. Thanks for the feedback.

Gorgeous

Already blooming. Really healthy and strong

A rose that arrives already in bloom is always a good sign. Apricot Drift is a tough little plant, and once it gets settled in, it tends to keep those blooms coming in waves all season. Thanks for sharing, Linda, and enjoy the color!

Excellent Roses

Received during the summer. They were packed well and looked beautiful when I opened them up. A few short weeks after being planted they have blooms galore and have fluffy leaves spreading out everywhere. Was worried they would struggle due to my poor sandy soil and hot Florida sun, but they seem to be thriving. Great purchase!

Hi Kelsey, Thank you so much for leaving us a lovely review! We are thrilled to hear your Apricot Drift Roses are already blooming and spreading so beautifully. Here's a tip to keep them thriving: since sandy soil drains quickly, your roses will benefit from a layer of organic mulch to help retain moisture and add nutrients as it breaks down. Also, Drift Roses are pretty low maintenance, but a light feeding in early spring and again after their first big flush of blooms will keep those flowers coming strong through the season. We're so glad they're doing well for you - enjoy those gorgeous blooms! - Nature Hills Customer Support

Kind of on the small size.

I would prefer buying a bigger size and spend the additional money. It's just very slow growing. I guess that's just me. I had some of these many years ago and it only took three years to reach the size it's supposed to, so we'll see. I may have bought one from another seller last year and it just died. I don't think they have a chance in the ground when they're sold small.

Healthy & Disease Free

Packaging was well done. The leaves had good color and the plants had buds when they arrived. The color of the blooms are exactly what I was looking for. The spent blooms seems to hold on longer than I would like. But I am happy with my choice.

Great gift for flower lover!

I sent this to my sister for her bday because she loves roses! I didn’t imagine it would look that great but she sent me a pic of it and it had 3 big roses fully opened! She planted in a pot and within a month it was twice the height!! I’m getting me one!

Great so far

Quick shipping, I received a live and vibrant plant. Hardly any dead leaves. A couple of the flowers were dropping petals. But thats not an issue there were already new buds and a couple opened the same day I put it outside. I love the smell these little roses produce! Very full bush with green foliage and healthy looking buds. I recommend as I did not know what the item would look like since I never ordered a live plant offline. I am hoping to order again and hope to have the same positive experience.

I’m very impressed with this rose! It was packaged well, and it arrived very quickly and beautifully intact. The plant itself is healthy and happy, and I can’t wait to see it flourish now that it’s planted. I would definitely recommend!

Packaged very well

These arrived in individual boxes (I bought eight of two different colors). One box was slightly damaged by the carrier but I found they were packaged very secure. I expected dormant plants but, while they weren't in bloom, I found that they were green and dry, probably for shipping ease. Make sure you water them upon arrival. They are now in the ground and look great.

In love !

I love roses, so I was very excited to get my roses. However, it came with many molds, but after planting it, I pruned it, sprayed it with neem oil twice a week, and watered the rose with rising plant food. It came well packaged.

Gorgeous Flower & Disease Free Plant

Product arrived earlier than promised - thank you. Great price & quick shipping. Couldn't ask for better packaging. This is a beautiful rose that has resist many, if not all, diseases that are typical with roses. Of the hundreds of roses I've planted over the years, this has to be one of the best genus of ground cover roses.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are drift roses?

  • Drift roses are low-growing, wide-spreading groundcover roses bred for disease resistance and continuous blooming from spring through fall. They stay compact without getting leggy, making them perfect facer plants for larger shrubs or edging along paths. Plant them where you need reliable color and easy care.

Is it drought tolerant?

  • Apricot Drift® Groundcover Rose has good drought tolerance once established, though it performs best with regular watering during dry spells. The hardy, disease-resistant nature that makes this rose so reliable also helps it withstand periods of drought. Water deeply but less frequently to encourage strong root development, available at naturehills.com.

What USDA hardiness zones is the Apricot Drift® Groundcover Rose suitable for?

  • Apricot Drift® Groundcover Rose thrives in USDA zones 4-11, making it suitable for most of the continental United States. This hardy rose handles both cold winters and hot summers while maintaining its disease-resistant foliage. Plant in full sun for best blooming performance.

Is the Apricot Drift® Rose deer resistant?

  • Apricot Drift® Rose is not specifically bred for deer resistance like some other rose varieties. While its low groundcover habit may make it less appealing to browsing deer than taller roses, it's not considered deer-proof. Plant in areas with natural deer deterrents or use fencing if deer pressure is high in your garden.

What plants pair well with Apricot Drift® Roses in the landscape?

  • Apricot Drift pairs beautifully with taller berry-producing Viburnums as a facer shrub, creating lovely layered plantings. Its low, spreading habit also makes it perfect for edging garden paths alongside larger shrubs and trees. Shop complementary plants at naturehills.com.
