Planting Pros Recommend:

Enjoy the ruffled, fragrant blooms of Love Song™ Rose Tree (Rosa 'WEKstameda' PP# 24,743) high atop a strong, straight standard trunk! This expertly-crafted tree-form Floribunda Rose brings the sweet-smelling, long-lasting lavender blooms up to eye level.

Imagine a very rounded, bushy canopy of disease-resistant foliage that is dark green with red new shoots; covered in clusters of big, beautiful, fully double blooms with over 40 petals apiece. The old-fashioned roses have excellent color stability and stay a lovely lavender without turning a lurid gray.

Planting and Application:

You'll enjoy watching the fat, pointed buds open into lavish roses with a citrusy-rose fragrance. Snip several clusters for opulent cut flower arrangements regularly and you'll encourage faster reblooming from late spring through fall.

  • Keep a trio of trees in oversized patio pots along your balcony railing for a sophisticated presentation. And wouldn't they look incredible on a patio?
  • Use them as an anchor in garden beds, as well. Try an odd-numbered series of them in either a straight line, or flowing serpentine curve to provide visual interest all year.
  • Mix them into your foundation planting to breathe fresh new life into your home's façade. Don't be afraid to remove some lawn and expand the planting...Love Song Roses are worth it!
  • If you love that classy lavender color , why not pair these tree-form Roses with the bush form in an alternating pattern? Or create a custom pairing with some of our other purple Roses, giving yourself permission to let your flair for the dramatic come out to play.
  • Love Song Rose Tree also makes a superb plant gift for a dear loved one. Use as a thoughtful "thinking of you" surprise; or share it to celebrate a big life moment.

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Even as trees, Roses require full sun with at least six hours of sunlight. Plant in a sheltered spot with well-drained soil, but ensure they still receive adequate air circulation.

  • Order the symbiotic Nature Hills Root Booster formula and use it in the planting hole. Get expert planting tips from our Nature Hills Horticulture team.
  • Apply supplemental water on a regular basis if the weather is dry, especially with container-grown plants. We also recommend high-quality Rose fertilizer applied according to the label directions.
  • In fall, rake and bag fallen leaf litter in the yard waste. In early spring, prune any branches that are heading into the interior of the canopy; tip prune to shape as needed.
