really nice

I received the plant in great shape. Thank you. It is root bound in its pot but the plant is healthy and a bit wilted. ( But it’s June 25, it’s hot) The nursery took great care to grow the plant to this point and the packaging was done nicely. I put it in the sink and gave it a little water. I will plant it this late afternoon when it cools off out side a bit. Thanks for the great quality and care.

Sounds like you handled the arrival perfectly, Toni. Watering it in the sink first and waiting for the cooler part of the day to plant are exactly the right moves, especially in late June heat. Once it gets its roots into the ground, Glitters Like Gold will settle in quickly and reward you with a lot of color. Thanks for the kind words about our packaging and growing practices.

They're going to survive

They're going to survive, but they were really beat up when they arrived.

Arrived in great condition

Arrived in great condition. And is blooming right where it is planted. :)

Blooming right after planting is a great sign that it settled in well. Black-Eyed Susans are tough once they find their spot, and it sounds like yours is already at home. Thanks for sharing the update, Cheryl. The Nature Hills Team
