Many people these days appreciate the sultry mystery of dark purple color. But out-of-this-world deep plum purple is the most challenging color to attain in the rose breeding world.

That bold hue comes at the cost of many dedicated years of breeding and research. In fact, combining disease resistance and vigor to the popular deep purple coloration is almost a supernatural achievement!

But Celestial Night™ (Rosa 'WEKebtigrad') floribunda has done it! Years of effort was worth it for Christian Bedard and his team of plant scientists at Week's Roses.

NatureHills.com is so excited to work with these amazing plants! Our Rose growers take wonderful care of them, growing them up into larger container sizes for you to enjoy an immediate impact in your garden.

Celestial Night Rose will bloom for you beautifully all season long. With blooms held on medium long stems, you'll be able to enjoy them indoors in cut flower arrangements.

Why pay for a single bouquet of purple roses? Grow your own Celestial Night for armloads of entrancing purple blooms at home.

A marvelous achievement of modern rose hybridization, the deep plum blooms will inspire you every time you study their old-fashioned form. These are glorious, abundant, very double roses that are quartered, old-fashioned and cuppy.

Breakthrough Celestial Night roses are showy and wide with plenty of buds. You'll love their gorgeous, full floral display and fruity fragrance!

Grow them in your own yard or keep them in containers for balcony decor. Order Celestial Night Roses from NatureHills.com today!

How to Use Celestial Night™ Rose in the Landscape

You really can't go wrong with this top choice in a sunny spot. Use one as a perfect "Thriller" for a balcony container garden.

Create a designer look with a regularly spaced series of matching garden containers along the length of your patio or pool deck. Mix and match with other purple hues, like Ebb Tide™ Rose and Arctic Blue™ Roses for a custom look.

Showy Roses look incredible near evergreens. If you want to jazz up your existing foundation plantings or mature trees, create a mass planting in a mulched bed.

Remove a little sod, and add mulch for a new focal point along your front walkway. Bushy Celestial Night Roses fill out right to the ground, and don't need facer plants.

Space them three to four feet apart, measuring from the center of one to the center of the next. Air circulation is important for healthy landscape Roses; please give each bush room to shine!

You'll be thrilled at the flower power! Why not add a bench nearby to sit and study the flushes of pointed buds and unfurled blooms?

Pair them with taller Camellia shrubs to echo their "Rose Window" flower form. Or, go rustic with a partnership of Coneflower perennials nearby.

Purple is surprisingly versatile...it's very effective with white, pink and red flowers. Perhaps you are feeling brave enough to take your garden design into orbit with contrasting yellow and orange hues!

Butterflies and beneficial pollinators will appreciate your thoughtfulness! Extended blooming Celestial Night Roses belong in every Butterfly Garden.

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Site selection is actually the most important part of planting Celestial Night Roses. They need full sun, well-drained soil, good airflow, and regular food and water to develop the richest purple coloration.

Look for a spot that receives at least six or more hours of sun a day. Consider pruning trees to give you more sun to play with!

Watch your preferred site after a rainfall to ensure it doesn't stay soggy for long. Roses require well-drained soil, so improve drainage by mounding up extra soil for planting in.

During planting, dig a hole large enough to accommodate the roots; but no deeper. Tap the plant out of it's pot and carefully check to make sure the top soil level remains the same.

Use symbiotic Nature Hills Root Booster during planting to create a life-long support for the tiny feeder roots. Modern Roses can live up to 30 years...and this formula never "wears out".

Press the backfill soil around the roots. Then water well to eliminate air pockets at the root zone.

Please supply a regular schedule of water. Soaker hoses are a great way to keep the glossy, dark green foliage dry.

Mulch over the root zone brings many benefits and makes your garden look picture-perfect. However, you need to pull it back away from directly touching the canes.

Feed a special Rose fertilizer according to the label directions. Repeat blooming Roses are hungry, and require multiple applications through the growing season.

In early spring, prune the Rose canes down to 6 - 8 inches. Cut at a 45-degree angle just above a nice, fat bud...and wear thick gloves!

Don't wait to delight yourself this season. Order Celestial Night™ Roses any time you see it in stock on our site; we'll ship your plants to you when the time is right for planting in your area.
