Every Rose is pretty, but this Rose? Arctic Blue™ Rose (Rosa 'WEKblufytirar') has been blessed with an extraordinary abundance of charm. Gorgeous, fully double blossoms are slightly ruffled. Each of the pretty petals comes to a definite point for polished sophistication.

You'll dream about that vividly elegant color! Delicious lilac pink blossoms chilled by a unique lavender-blue finish, iced with cool creamy white on the reverse. Arctic Blue™ Rose has a refreshing effect; especially when the temperatures heat up! The blooms start in late spring and rebloom through the season in a continuous repeat.

Lavender is very on-trend. However, we predict that Arctic Blue™ Rose will grow into a timeless favorite. Can you imagine these beauties in your summer garden? Visually cool, but oh-so-romantic. And the fragrance? Fruity-sweet but fresh, like a fancy-cut Clementine orange mixed with a Key Lime pie.

No matter if you're an avid rose collector or just getting started, you'll fall deeply in love with this burgeoning beauty. Arctic Blue™ is a superior selection that has so much going for it! Its non-stop bloom production will give you armfuls of cut flowers with 35 to 40 petals apiece. Festoon your boudoir or grace your kitchen counter with their charm.

Planting and Application:

Use several to add flower power to your mixed garden bed. Modern Rose bushes are just as easy as any other, with proper site selection. This Rose makes a terrific gift plant for the gardener in your life. Even new gardeners can achieve the look they crave with this highly rated, disease-resistant variety.

Purple fanatics should pair Arctic Blue™ with fragrant Ebb Tide™ Rose for a stunning study in contrasting colors. They are terrific with dark purple foliage. Enliven a hedge with a row of Arctic Blue™ Roses for an effective garden focal point and curb appeal!

Use them as a hardy thriller in garden containers. You might be surprised how well Arctic Blue™ Roses mix with modern styling. Use a sleek raised planter, and expand the spacing in a mulched bed. Both in pots and in the ground, a few lining your seating areas create divinely fragranced entertainment areas!

The non-stop blooms and citrusy scent can't be beaten! Invest in bud vases because Arctic Blue™ Roses have such shapely pointed buds, and you can enjoy them for a long time indoors. So be sure to include these blooms in your cut flower garden. Don't leave out the glossy green foliage as both filler and a lovely counterpoint. Keep it simple with a series of smaller vases, or splash out with several blooming sprays in a larger vase.

Cottage gardens, pollinator borders and foundation hedges gain head-turning blooms and color! For a more informal approach, plant them with rustic or formal plants! These are to dress them up, or down! Any way you choose to incorporate fragrant lavender blooms will be gorgeous. Start a Rose Garden with a color pallet of pink, white, yellow and this icy blue lavender.

Truly study the architecture of each shrub. The geometric symmetry of the blooms is simply outstanding! Need something to bump up curb appeal further? Try the Tree-Form of this icy Rose!

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Select your planting site carefully for the best results. Full sun (6 or more hours of sun a day!) and well-drained soil are a must. If your soil stays moist after rainfall or is in a low-lying depression, plant in a raised bed. You'll improve the drainage with additional soil in a planting mound. These Roses need regular water, and soaker hoses are best. Disguise them with a layer of mulch over the root zone, pulling it back away from the canes.

Feed your Roses a special Rose fertilizer formula, following the instructions on the label. Roses are heavy feeders, with their long-lasting flowering display! Prune Roses in early spring, removing any broken branches. Trim the canes down to 6 - 8", cutting at a 45-degree angle just above a nice, fat bud.
