Are you in the mood for fun this summer? Want to dazzle guests, family, friends and neighbors with an amazing color display in containers, or in your landscape?

The Endless Summer Summer Crush Hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla 'Bailmacfive' PP 30,359) makes an immediate impact wherever it's placed. Summer Crush is a color breakthrough in reblooming bigleaf Hydrangeas.

Give it morning sun and afternoon shade and watch as a profusion of big raspberry red or neon purple blooms just pop starting in late spring. The big blooms are borne on sturdy stems.

It's perhaps the most wilt-resistant Endless Summer yet. This compact growing hydrangea is deciduous with dark green glossy leaves. You won't have to make some gigantic commitment to use this, either. It stays nice, tidy and small. So yes, you do have room for this cute variety.

It easily fits smaller spaces in the garden and is the perfect size for patio containers. This plant is hot, hot, hot and we will sell out.

Our expert gardeners love this reblooming Hydrangea line. We take special pride in caring for them. How nice to receive healthy, beautiful plants on your doorstep. Place your order from Nature Hills today!

How to Use Endless Summer Summer Crush Hydrangea in the Landscape

What a wonderful "Thriller" for containers! Style them anyway youd like. Go for a bold glazed blue or keep the focus on the blooms, with a dark gray or brown pot. These beautiful plants can handle a "lot of look", so don't fret over the decision.

If you use a resin pot, it's easier to move them around your landscape wherever you might need a pop of seasonal color. Or, splash out on cast concrete containers for a permanent display on either side of your front door or along your pool deck.

These small plants would look amazing lining a walkway on the east side of your house as a very cheery low hedge. Plant them 12 inches apart for a solid screen. Include them as edging plants in modern foundation plantings.

You can also repeat them along the edge of your borders for a charming look. Why not plant some in the ground, and use a few in containers in your border? Youll love the look of a mixed planting!

Hint, hint - these are perhaps the best Mother's Day present you could possibly give. Try them as a thoughtful "thinking of you" present for anyone.

They even make wonderful Sympathy gifts. Tell your loved one to simply use them as-is on their porch. Keep them watered, and they'll be just fine for the season in their nursery pot. Endless Summer Hydrangeas are very easy care.

#ProPlantTips for Care

Summer Crush grows beautifully in full sun or part sun, in well-drained soil. Give your plants a moderate amount of water on a regular basis. Be sure to check your container plants using the Finger Test.

Poke your finger down into the soil to the depth of your second knuckle. Is it moist? Skip watering that day. Is it getting dry? Time to get the hose out or set up an automatic drip watering to keep your life easy!

Provide a balanced fertilizer in early spring and again in mid-summer, as neutral soil will produce the characteristic raspberry red color. In acid soils, you'll enjoy purple toned blooms.

Endless Summer Hydrangeas are remontant, and bloom on both old wood and new wood. You'll love having lavish blooms all growing season long. First, the blooms appear in late spring on last year's growth. Then, you'll see an additional flush of blooms from new growth from the base.

Only prune if necessary, right after the bloom is past. This cute plant is so compact and tidy, you may not need to prune at all! Why not just take a few of the large ball-shaped blooms for cut flower arrangements throughout the season?

Summer Crush is proven to be Zone 4 cold hardy. It may die back over the winter that far north, but will come back from the roots. In the extreme cold zones, give a layer of mulch over the plant in late fall. Or, try it in a container, and move it into your garage for winter.

Whatever you do with this Endless Summer Summer Crush, we know you'll have a good time with it. With fantastic blooms like this, how can you help but smile?

Life is short. Order plenty of colorful cuties today!
