Oro Easy Peasy Rose is doing great after being put in a large pot.

Oro Easy Peasy Rose is doing great after being put in a large pot and placed on my patio. Blooms she came with have faded but leaves have greened up and it looks like more buds are coming on.

Container growing suits this rose well, and it sounds like she has settled in nicely after the move. The initial blooms fading is completely normal as the plant redirects energy into establishing itself, so those new buds are a good sign that she is right at home on your patio. Thanks for the update, Mary.

Frequently Asked Questions

What color are the flowers and how long is the blooming season?

  • The Oso Easy Peasy® Rose produces bright fuchsia-pink flowers from late spring through frost. This reblooming shrub provides months of continuous color in zones 4-9. Plant in full sun for the longest blooming season and best flower production.

How much space should I leave between plants when planting multiple roses?

  • Space Oso Easy Peasy® Roses 3-4 feet apart to allow for their full mature spread. This compact rose grows 3-4 feet tall and wide, so proper spacing prevents overcrowding and ensures good air circulation. Plant in spring or fall for best results, available at naturehills.com.

Does this variety require winter protection in colder climates?

  • The Oso Easy Peasy® Rose is hardy in USDA zones 4-9 and typically doesn't need winter protection in these zones. In zone 4 or exposed locations, consider mulching around the base for extra protection. Shop cold-hardy roses at Nature Hills.
