Planting and Application:

Silver Lining offers the best of both cutting-quality and a modern landscape Rose bush. Use it with pride throughout your garden for blissfully cool-toned, extravagant blooms.

  • Mix with our other popular purple Roses, including Ebb Tide™, Love Song™ and more. A garden feature like this is an exciting and rich combination you'll cherish each year!
  • You might be surprised how versatile Silver Lining Roses are! Weave them into the mid-ground of your mixed Shrub Border for a perfectly poised composition.
  • Because they bloom for such an extended period of time, you'll want to think about using Silver Lining in your Butterfly Garden. Wouldn't a row of five or more make a glorious contrasting backdrop for Prairie perennials?
  • Of course, you can also go sleek and streamlined with Silver Lining Roses kept in tall patio pots. Try a series of them along the edge of your patio or balcony for a high-end effect.
  • Create professional-looking bouquets with one or two sprays of these extraordinary blooms. Snip at a 45-degree angle and remove the foliage below the water line in your vase.

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Support these marvelous, silvery blooms with plenty of sunlight and well-drained soil. Reblooming Roses need at least six hours of sunlight per day and Rose fertilizer for optimum performance.

  • Another life-long help comes from the symbiotic ingredients found in Nature Hills Root Booster. Use during planting, or apply to mature plants as a top-dressing at soil level.
  • Plan to give supplemental water on a regular basis, if you don't get rain. Mulch over the roots, but please pull it back away from touching the canes directly.
  • In fall, rake and bag all leaf litter from under your Roses. In early spring, prune all canes to six inches; cutting right above a nice, fat bud.
