Classic beauty with a flashy side - The Grandiflora Rock & Roll™ Rose (Rosa 'Wekgobnez') is a flashy icon that will take center stage in your garden! Big, creamy buds are set out dramatically against dark foliage, then white petals unfurl to reveal a spectacle of randomized burgundy and red! Varying with each flower, you'll never know what to expect as each new bloom opens! Flashes, streaks, stripes, and splashes, even a few speckles and splotches!
The combination of them all on your shrub is an incredible sight! Backed by a flush of deep green foliage, the fully formed, old-fashioned blooms sport an old-world fragrance too! The strong fruity Rose scent fills your garden spaces as well as fills your indoor spaces!
These decent-sized bushy plants are fantastic landscaping shrubs, perfect as privacy shrubs! Rows of these thorned barriers will stop trespassers while providing screening. Then the incredible blooms arrive! Completely deserving of the spotlight, this Rose also plays nice with others!
Rock & Roll™ Grandifloras are standout specimens that take the stage, dramatically accenting your entire landscape when given a place of distinction! A must-have spectacle for the Rose Garden and adds an upscale dramatic element to your sun gardens! Great for cutting gardens, your spaces inside and out will be filled with breathtaking blooms and glossy foliage!
Outstanding in Rose gardens, Cottage beds, or Perennial borders, use Rock & Roll™ as an accent or soften your home’s foundation. Take your visitor's breath away by planting this starlet by your entry! Either in pots or planters on a sunny porch, or in the ground by your front steps.
Roses prefer the full sun throughout growing zones 5 through 9, Rock & Roll™ thrives in the heat and cold. Plant in an enriched environment in well-drained soil that has consistent moisture throughout the growing season. Fertilize regularly and deadhead to promote new blooms all season long. Otherwise, Rock & Roll™ is low maintenance and only requires pruning in the early spring to promote new flushes of growth. Mulch well to insulate the root system and maintain soil moisture levels more consistently. Prune in early spring, and for more about pruning Roses, winterizing Roses, and un-wintering Roses - Check out our Garden Blog.

Roses need a protected location and prefer full sun and favor the drying power of the morning sun and flower best in at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day. Choose a location in good, enriched soil that drains well and has good air circulation.
You can plant Roses any time if you are able to provide enough consistent moisture and attention. While there is not a specific month that is best, generally because it changes with temperatures, climate and growing zone. However, the easiest times of the year to get Rose bushes established in your landscape are in spring after the last frost date, and in fall about 4-6 weeks before the first frost.
Rose bushes are deciduous woody perennial shrubs and will return bigger and better each year.
