Plant it in the ground, or use it as a "Thriller" in outdoor containers on your balcony, patio or porch. Pearl Glam® will rock your world!

Even a single Pearl Glam® Beautyberry will produce hundreds of those outstanding berries. It stays slim and stands upright to fit even small-space gardens.

Pearl Glam® was field-tested by the Proven Winner® team for years. It combines the best attributes of its parent plants to provide enhanced dark purple foliage and white clusters of summer blossoms all along the branches.

Butterflies love the late-season nectar resource. Don't be surprised to see Monarchs fill up before their annual migration south.

When the flowers are done, watch as the bright clusters of violet-purple berries appear all along the branches. You won't believe the intensity of this remarkable fall display!

These gorgeous "pearls" delight both you and your local songbirds. But deer tend to leave this one alone. It's even reputed to be a natural mosquito repellent.

Add several near your patio to test the theory!

Pearl Glam® Beautyberry is a deciduous shrub that is resistant to disease, deer and pests, and requires little or no maintenance.

Add the branches and berries to elegant floral arrangements in the fall. Let them dry indoors for a show of texture and color all winter long.

Pearl Glam® Beautyberry is an exceptional and unique shrub with a great deal to offer. It takes up little space but makes a big impact. Order yours today!

How to Use Pearl Glam® Beautyberry in the Landscape

These versatile shrubs are triple threats with foliage, flowers and fall berries. Use them to amp up the appeal of your landscaping.

Create a low hedge with several planted in a row. Plant it straight or curve it to follow the lay of your land.

Plant two feet apart on center, measuring from the center of one to the center of the next. The branches will grow together and touch.

Mass a display to fill a bare, open spot in full sun. Stagger additional rows two feet apart, using a zigzagging planting pattern. Mulch between shrubs and keep new mass plantings weeded until they touch.

Imagine how flash your patio can look with a rich, burgundy purple border of Pearl Glam® Beautyberry defining it in your space. These plants are so easy to grow, and give a long-lasting display of color.

Partner these with other dark-foliage shrubs for a wonderfully gothic look. Just say Heathcliff helped you plant them! You'd be surprised how restful this kind of moody planting becomes.

Pop the clear lavender tones of Life's Little Pleasures Miniature Roses along the base of your Pearl Glam® Beautyberry. If you love purple, you can go all out with Purple Coneflower and Ebb Tide Rose in a mixed border.

Pearl Glam® is a great size for modern lots. Use it as a virtuoso backdrop for smaller perennials.

Create a truly modern cutting garden. Add it to a mixed shrub border with French Pussy Willow, Renaissance Spirea, Sensation Lilac, Summer Soirée Rose of Sharon, Witch Hazel and Red Twig Dogwood.

You'll get a great-looking, easy-care garden feature, and grow plenty of material for cut flower arrangements all year-long.

#ProPlantTips for Care

Grow Pearl Glam® Beautyberry in full sun. They'll need at least six hours of direct sunlight for the most amazing performance.

It will do best in well-drained soil. If you have wet soils that stay damp after a rain, add additional dirt in a mound 18 inches high by three feet wide. Plant in that mound.

They will need a medium amount of water on a regular basis, especially during their first season. If you are growing them in containers, please ensure they get the water they need.

Use the "Finger Test" to determine if they need supplemental water. Poke your finger in the ground near the root system. If it's getting dry, soak them. If it is still moist, skip the watering and check the next day.

Apply a three-inch layer of wood chip mulch over their roots to cut down on surface evaporation.

Mulch slowly breaks down over time to improve your soil. It's a good thing!

Prune in early spring. In the coldest rated zone, you may see winter die-back. Prune it back at a 45-degree angle above an outward-facing bud. Just watch as new growth emerges from the roots to flower and fruit that same year.

Pearl Glam Beautyberry is a good time! Add one or many more to your lineup this season.
