An Elegant Tree with Amazing Scented Flowers

A mimosa is an elegant Champaign and orange juice cocktail, but it is also an elegant tree for your natural landscape!  It is an unusual, almost tropical or exotic looking tree that does adore the heat and humidity and tolerates drought very well.  It is also known as the Persian Silk Tree commonly because of the incredibly fragrant and beautiful pink flower clusters with an unusual thread-like petals.

Hard to beat this fast growing and an ornamentaltree that puts on quite a show.  The foliage is similar to a fern, fine textured and ornate.  The flower clusters dance across the top of the foliage like pink clouds of cotton candy for a good part of the summer.

Mimosa trees get to about 30’ vase shaped, flat-topped ornamental to use at the back edge of your lot or a backdrop to your vegetable or flower borders.  The sweet-smelling flowers attract pollinators like butterflies, birds, and bees to your yard.

The gardenia-like fragrance of the puff ball like flowers, the fast growth rate, and beautiful fern-like foliage are all good attributes.  Hardy in zones 6-9 and even into 10 loving the heat and tolerating dry soils beautifully.  Mimosa’s tend to work well in less formal situations and in groups out away from pools and patios where they can be allowed to take on their natural form.

For a very unique fast growing ornamental tree, you can’t go wrong with the Mimosa Tree.  Order yours now!
