Water moderately, yet consistently throughout the year for best results, and give your root system a thick layer of mulch to insulate them from heat and cold, while also regulating soil moisture.

When the time to prune your Rose rolls around, be sure to leave it untrimmed in the fall and winter, and in early spring just as they start to flourish, trim all stems down to about 6-8 inches. and create an open interior so sunlight and air circulation can reach.
