#ProPlantTips for Care:

Indoors, Caladium loves bright sunlight but not direct. Outdoors Caladium prefers shade with a bit of morning sun and shade the rest of the day. Or plant in moist locations in dappled sunlight. Too much light will cause the vibrant colors to fade and the leaf edges to brown. During their growing season, these plants like their rich well-draining soil to be kept evenly moist but never soggy. A 3-4 inch layer of arborist mulch helps hold in moisture and keep the roots cool. Dig the tuberous corms in the fall and store them in a frost-free location for the winter.

  • Prefers Full Shade & Partial Shade
  • Well-Drained Moist, Organically Rich Soil
  • Appreciates Mulched Beds
  • Clean Mounds As Foliage Yellows
  • Perennial Tubers or Annual Accents
  • Northern Growers Can Lift In Fall

Colorful shade garden plants that are deer-resistant and easy to grow make Caladium tubers ideal go-to foliage ornamental! Add some 'pep' to your garden this year with the bold color of Red Flash Caladium by ordering yours from Nature Hills today!
