Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Growing Zones 4-9
Grab your tropical drink and sunglasses, sit back and enjoy! Cranberry is a hot color for gardens! It is also not an easy color to find in flowers or foliage. Lucky for you Nature Hills has got cranberry covered for you big time! The Proven Winners® Summerific® Cranberry Crush Hibiscus (Hibiscus x 'Cranberry Crush') brings that amazing color to you with ease!
Summerific® is a line of Hardy Hibiscus that are an improvement over older cultivars. Modern hybridizing programs have created an easy-to-grow perennial that is ready-made for the busy gardener. Growing shorter than traditional perennial Hibiscus, Cranberry Crush maintains a full, compact habit. Not to mention sporting glorious, scarlet-red flowers!
Those deep, dark-red blooms instantly transport you to some sandy beach in the tropics! So get your sunscreen and flip-flops ready! Cranberry Crush's robust foliage creates a spectacular backdrop for the wavy flowers that smother the shrub. Lasting mid-summer through autumn, you'll want to plant your Hibiscus right where you can showcase the many amazing features!
Starting near-black, buds open into satiny, scarlet-red, blooms. Each burst open into impressive, 7-8" wide, with heavily overlapping petals. The bees, butterflies, and Hummingbirds will not be able to resist! Nor will your neighbors once they catch a glimpse over your garden gate!
Cranberry Crush blooms profusely all season, not letting up despite the heat and summer sun. Set against a perfect backdrop of glossy, deep-green foliage. The maple-shaped, leathery leaves, show off purple overtones.
Unlike most Hardy Hibiscus, Cranberry Crush doesn't just flower at the top like older cultivars. Instead, the flowering stems are filled from the bottom to the top! This provides you with an abundance of flowers covering the bush on all sides!
Planting and Application:
Doing wonderfully in containers as a 'Thriller' plant, Cranberry Crush quickly becomes a 4-foot shrub, for easy privacy and drama. Flank your hammock with a pair of these tropical beauties and instantly get whisked away on a miniature vacation! Large planters let you highlight these beauties everywhere you desire!
The show lasts from midsummer to early fall. So plant these among spring-blooming plants, so Cranberry Crush takes over as they begin to fade. Or you can include them among fall-blooming perennials, to fill in the gaps until the autumn show gets started.
Compact enough for urban gardens and sunny porches, Cranberry Crush will be all the color you need on one plant! Cottage Gardens and mixed shrub borders benefit from the addition of these bold statement plants. So be sure to situate them so you can enjoy the long season of color! Adding impact and a presence to every landscape!
Hummingbirds and butterflies will flock to this buffet, so plant Hibiscus in Pollinator gardens where they can be seen and appreciated. The golden-yellow stamen, glowing in the center of each impressive bloom, will be swarming with bees and other beneficial pollinators as well!
Use as a structural backdrop to your informal perennial borders, or add bold splashes of color to your cottage gardens. Cranberry Crush looks amazing as a patio plant too, adding that tropical feel poolside or around the firepit!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Cranberry Crush is easy-care and winter hardy from zone 4 and up! This tough Hardy Hibiscus perennial performs like a rockstar in your garden. Forming a handsome, rounded shrub, it thrives in both full sun and part shade! Their adaptability to occasionally wet and dry soils is incredible as long as it is well-drained, but they do best with consistent watering and will keep your plant stress-free. Apply a 3-4 inch layer of mulch over the top of the roots, pulling them back away from the roots.
Cranberry Crush is a hardy perennial Hibiscus that will die back to the ground each year. Deadhead after the flowers fade, and an early spring simple pruning can be performed each year by cutting each stem to the ground. Then after the threat of frost has passed, new shoots quickly develop from the roots every year!
Fast-growing, herbaceous Hibiscus emerges in spring a bit later than other perennials, once there is no longer any threat of frost. Quickly filling a 4-5 foot area with flashy color! Once established, Cranberry Crush is capable of adding an inch of new growth per day!
