Unique Little Gem First Editions® Glory™ Hypericum

  • Beautiful Buttercup Yellow Flowers
  • Blooms Late Spring Into Summer
  • Pollinator Friendly
  • Easy to Grow

Looking for that unique little gem to add to your garden? Take a look at the First Editions® Glory™ Hypericum (Hypericum 'Kolmaglor' PPAF). This little beauty is so much more than its name.

Part of the St. John's Wort family, “Wort” comes from the old English word for plant or herb. This little plant deserves to be better known. St John’s Wort is very easy to grow. You can almost plant it and forget about it.

St. John’s Wort will give you two long seasons of interest. Once when it flowers those beautiful buttercup yellow flowers and again when it fruits the stunning carmel-orange berries in the fall.

You will enjoy the appearance of this plant all season long. In warmer climates this plant can be semi-evergreen. In areas where the leaves turn, you will enjoy the yellow fall color.

Glory will grow to a height of 2 ½ -3 feet and the width will be 2-2 ½ feet. They love to be planted in full sun, for best blooms, or partial shade. They require well drained soil. Their moisture requirement is low once established.

Butterflies, hummingbirds and beneficial pollinators will flock to this plant. If you want to prune Glory, the best time is in early spring. Plant this beauty for sunny borders, mixed borders, foundation plantings and for cutting.

Florists love to use this for fall bouquets. So many floral arrangements contain the stems of these clustered fruits.
