This ground-hugging perennial comes alive each spring with a dense layer of leaves speckled with delicate white five-petaled flowers. These flowers have a delightfully bright yellow center that, as the season continues, grows into the berry! Oh, and what a berry it is!

Some say the Wild Strawberry is the sweetest strawberry around! It's small globular shape and deep red color evoke a sense of anticipation as you wait for it to be perfectly ripe so you can pick it off the plant and enjoy! The berries start forming early in the season and are ready to be picked soon after.

Wild Strawberry is a native to the continental United States and is one of the parent plants to the widely cultivated strawberries you'll see at the grocery stores! It grows very well in a wide variety of conditions. It thrives best in full sun to part shade and has medium moisture requirements. This perennial also appreciated well-drained soil but isn't particularly picky when it comes to the soil type.

Your local pollinators love this plant's flowers as much as you'll like its berries! As spring begins and your other flowers are just waking up, your garden will already be alive with the flutter of wings. Butterflies will line up for a chance to snack on the nectar of the Wild Strawberries flower!

This Strawberry variety continuously produces throughout the season with just a few becoming ready to pick each day. The wait is well worth it though as each berry is jam-packed with flavor!

This charming perennial provides beautiful flowers and fantastic berries. It can be used as a border specimen or as an interesting addition to your edible garden! Either way, you'll love walking by and plucking a few berries to munch on. Order a Wild Strawberry today!
