Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Understanding Plant Options
Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements
Container Plant Sizes
Container sizes indicate plant age and growing capacity rather than liquid volume equivalents. Our containers follow industry-standard nursery "trade gallon" specifications, which differ from standard liquid gallon measurements.

Eastern Redbuds are one of America's favorite trees! Beautiful in spring, summer, and fall, these trees are sure-fire can't-miss beauties in your yard!
Only the most hardened heart can resist this beautiful new weeping form of the Eastern Redbud, the Pink Heartbreaker® Weeping Redbud Tree (Cercis canadensis 'Pink Heartbreaker') features brilliant spring blooms and improved branching habit!
Pink Heartbreaker® Redbud has a rambling, cascading, meandering form with more branching than other Weeping Redbuds. Like all Redbuds, Pink Heartbreaker® is smothered in small, lavender-pink buds that hug tightly to the bare spring branches. They pop out of the leafless stems in late April with the foliage following later. It is a show-stopping look that lasts until mid-May when the leaves begin to emerge!
The leaves start out a beautiful red and age to a deep green as summer closes in. Once the Pink Heartbreaker® Redbud leaves have turned in the fall, they drop, revealing a striking branching system that is just as eye-catching in the winter as the buds are in the spring.
Landscape Application:
The Pink Heartbreaker® looks far less formal than other Weeping Trees, which makes it great for less formal landscapes. It makes a spectacular focal point in a Zen Garden or balcony Yoga studio. This makes a wonderful treatment for small space gardens! Growing just 8 - 10 feet tall, and 3 - 4 feet wide, even gardeners without a yard can enjoy these trees as showy container specimens!
Combine this tree with purple flowering plants like catmint or lavender for a spring show to be proud of and bring in the early-emerging pollinators. Wind several of them in a serpentine line to add a little "pop" of whimsy to your life and landscape. Perhaps on the way to a child's playhouse or as a conversation piece around seating areas?
Repeat them along the length of a mixed garden border. Choose between even spacing or syncopated, varied spacing between the trees. Either way, delivers a sophisticated edge to the design!
Plant a sentry pair flanking either side of your front doorway...they are excellent conversation starters! Use a row of them as a backdrop for your garden beds or create an allée behind seating areas. Place a hammock nearby and breathe a big sigh of relief after a tough day!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Plant this beauty in full sun where it can be admired year-round, and Redbuds handle partial shade in hot climates. Plant in moist rich well-drained soil. Provide regular consistent water access and a boost of spring fertilizer for flowering trees.
Surround the base of the tree with mulch to ensure even moisture and to protect your Redbud from drought. Not to mention the dramatic difference it makes in the overall appearance of the colorful tree. Prune when needed in the spring as soon as the flowers are finished.
- Best in Full Sun or Partial Shade
- Well-Drained Soils
- Moderate Moisture Needs
- Prune Immediately After Flowering
- Deer Don't Prefer the Taste
So pretty - it breaks your heart! The Pink Heartbreaker® Weeping Redbud Tree will become your home's crowning glory! Order one of these carefree trees today and enjoy the show for years to come!
