Open the envelope, please! The award for most colorful Hydrangea is...LA Dreamin' Hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla 'Lindsey Ann')!

This history-making Hydrangea produces a saturated mix of all the lovely colors...from mauve and pink through lavender and into cool-toned blue! This bigleaf mophead Hydrangea can exhibit different colors on the same plant but note that in more acidic soils you will see more blue and purple, and in a more neutral soil pH you will see more pink mixed in.

Can you imagine the showy bouquets you'll create each summer? From a single shrub, you'll fill a vase with a beautifully soft color wash across the spectrum.

LA Dreamin' starts blooming in early summer on wood from last year. Enjoy guessing which shade each flower bud might open into!

The amazing performance continues on new growth from this season. Each colorful bloom is supported on nice, strong stems.

LA Dreamin' has star power that lasts all season long starting from early summer on through fall! And although the flower power is huge, thankfully this compact plant will fit into any garden.

Dark green, textured foliage casts a marvelous contrast for the large blooms. Healthy, shiny, bright green foliage is the perfect backdrop for the colorful flower show.

This new form of mophead completely redefines the garden. Since it blooms on old and new wood it is a reliably strong bloomer every year, no matter how hard the winter was.

LA Dreamin' Hydrangea is easy to grow whether you've been gardening for years, or are just getting started. Simply follow our #ProPlantTips and you'll watch tons of flowers bloom over and over again.

The LA Dreamin' Hydrangea reviews are in and it's a winner. Order yours today!

How to Use LA Dreamin' Hydrangea in the Landscape

Use one as a focal point to capture the painterly charm of the flower colors...or dozens as a gorgeous hedge to enjoy these splashy Hydrangea blooms. This beauty will be a standout in your garden, no matter how you choose to use it.

Because the flowers keep coming, you'll have armloads of huge, colorful flowers to bring inside all season. Don't forget to include some of the dark foliage in your cut flower arrangements!

Butterflies appreciate these mophead blooms, too! Keep them well-supplied with nectar by including these reblooming flowering shrubs in your Butterfly Gardens.

Another welcome way to get the most from these A-list players is to use them as a low screening plant. Their lush foliage easily hides some of the more mundane parts of your yard...like the air conditioner!

No Cottage Garden would act quite the same without the role of Hydrangea. LA Dreamin' Hydrangea makes an exceptional addition, exhibiting multi-colors on the same plant.

Plant a trilogy of these special shrubs at the corner of your garage. Use them anywhere you want a soft burst of color all season long!

Because of their color range, LA Dreamin' Hydrangea is an incredible partner for a wide range of perennials.

#ProPlantTips for Care

This selection can handle a sunny spot. You'll get the most flowers if you plant them with at least six hours of direct sunlight; favoring morning sun and afternoon shade if you have it.

Ensure they have well-drained soil that sheds water quickly after a rainfall. Provide an acidic mulch like pine bark or pine straw to keep the roots cool...but pull it back away from directly touching the stems.

Water carefully to ensure your LA Dreamin' Hydrangea receives a consistent amount of water to remain evenly moist, but not sopping wet. Mulch will help cut down on surface evaporation.

In spring as they start to grow, cut out the old flower stems or any damaged tips from winter. Leave younger live stems in place to bear the season's first set of blooms.

Apply slow release fertilizer for Acid Loving, ericaceous plants in early spring. Keep nitrogen-rich lawn fertilizers away from your blooming plants!

Order enough LA Dreamin' Hydrangea to complete your entire project, or you'll be placing a "sequel" order. We do run out of this showy variety quickly, so act now!
