Daylily - Pardon Me
Fragrant Cranberry Wine
The Hemerocallis ‘Pardon Me’, also known as a Daylily, has a very fragrant, small cranberry-wine, almost red flower, with a yellow throat, with a flower size of 3”.
It has dark green foliage and will reach a height of 18” and a plant spread of 23-29”.
‘Pardon Me’ will bloom from May through July, with outstanding color and a definite rebloomer.
Although the blooms will last only for one day, there are many blooms on strong stems that rise above tall grassy foliage, (remove in late fall).
‘Pardon Me’ is considered to be pest and deer resistant. Use for cut flowers, massing, edging, borders or in mixed containers and tubs.

Use for cut flowers, massing, edging, in borders or in mixed containers and tubs. Once established, the daylily can be an excellent groundcover on slopes because it has roots that hold soil against erosion.
The ‘Pardon Me’ daylily can survive many harsh conditions that other plants cannot. This includes polluted city environments, slopes, poor and dry soils, near pavement that is salted in winter, and under Black Walnut trees (not affected by juglone). This plant prefers a full sun area that is well-drained
This cheery little plant is a lovely, profuse bloomer!
