Fluffy plumes of eye-catching pink candy will brighten your shady gardens. Also known as False Spirea, this Pink Astilbe (Astilbe x 'Verspink') is part of the new Younique series that boasts loads of amazing new features!

Better known as Astilbe, these wonderful feathery flowers have an early bloom time, increased flowers per plant and improved disease resistance!

Butterflies and Hummingbirds will flock to the increased flower per plant and a 2 week earlier bloom time than other Astilbe varieties! The showy plumes have numerous panicles neatly held in tidy, eye-catching bunches.

Shorter and more compact Astilbe, these flowers have incredibly handsome, fern-like, dissected green foliage! Gorgeous dark, glossy green and sturdy stems hold the elegant plumes aloft without staking. Younique Pink has a more compact, rounded growth habit and looks like filigree balls of dark green in the garden when not in bloom.

Floral designers will enjoy the plumes because they're just as handsome in a vase as in the garden! With the increased bloom productivity, your bouquets will be full of pink bubblegum-colored blossoms all spring and summer!

#ProPlantTips For Care

Astilbe does the absolute best in loamy average soil. Also tolerant of clay as long as it is well-drained soil, Astilbe a great in slightly acidic conditions. False Spirea won't mind being planted in the shade of large trees and conifers, even tolerating Walnut tree juglone!

Any organically rich, moist part shade garden site is perfect for these moisture-loving perennials. Easy to grow, as long as their ground does not dry out for long however, once established, False Spirea can tolerate a slight amount of drought stress.

False Spirea needs moisture. Doing their best in consistently well-watered areas and soil with high moisture retention.

Astilbe loves part shade, moisture and mulch and will tolerate a bit more sun in cooler climates and less in warmer areas. Though growers on the lower end can plant Astilbe in some part sun areas with afternoon shade when the summer sun is most intense.

Astilbe is resistant to both deer and rabbits, so plant these on the wooded and shaded edges of your property without worry of feeding damage.

An herbaceous perennial, Astilbe does not stand up for too long after the first frosts. Prune back in late winter to clean and tidy the area in anticipation of early spring growth.

Whether you are adding one of these lively plants to a bare spot in your garden or starting on your Astilble obsession, there will always be room for one of these pint-sized, brilliantly colored plants. Easy care, you won't go wrong with Younique Pink Astilbe for your garden of all sizes! Order your own bright fluffy garden confections from Nature Hills today!
