The vine category contains a selection of wide-ranging plants. Gardeners can choose from various vine plants that produce either fruit, flowers, or colorful foliage. These versatile plants have a multitude of uses in garden landscapes because of their many sizes and forms. Nature Hills offers sensational vines that are climbers and runners. Runners may become climbers when they find some natural or manmade formation that they can climb. Some vines are genetically equipped to attach themselves to a wall or fence, or they may need human assistance such as a trellis or pergola.

An unwelcome feature can be hidden and covered with beautiful, draping vines. Some vines can scramble with ease up and over fences, arbors, and trellises. The long blooming flowers, such as those on a clematis plant or honeysuckle, are often used to cover an unattractive area and add a colorful focal point to a yard.

Vines grow in sun, shade, or some of both. They thrive in good and poor soils, can withstand a variety of climatic variations, such as drought and heat, and are fast growers. Many vegetables are considered vines, such as cucumbers or sweet potatoes. Vines are ornamental such as the climbing roses, or the ivy. which makes a clever groundcover. Climbing plants add a vertical dimension and an olfactory sensation to any garden or landscape.
