Bailey Compact American Cranberrybush, viburnum trilobum 'Bailey Compact', is a 6' rounded and compact plant that has dark green foliage that turns a deep fiery red in the fall. It is known for its' dense foliage.

It produces white flowers in spring which mature to red fruit. Birds do not like the fruit so it may persist all winter.

It does well in full sun or partial shade. It preferrs moist, well-drained soil, but this viburnum tolerates a range of conditions. This deciduous shrub makes a handsome accent, screen or border. It can be pruned to any size.

Bailey Compact American Cranberrybush is a great cover up for undersides of decks or the base of a post or column since it is a desirable plant for limited size areas.

Having the perfect stature for narrow side yards and courtyards, it is ideally sized for foundation planting.

What a beauty for woodland home sites, bird and wildlife gardens!
