Feel great about your commitment to helping with this special showpiece. Scarlet Oak is a perfect choice for modern lots, as it starts life as a fast-growing selection.

The open canopy and large, lobed leaves cast delicious shade without a long wait. You'll instantly recognize these pretty, six-inch long leaves for their bristle tips and deep sinuses.

Each year, the leathery leaves turn bronzed, brilliant crimson for fall color. Give the neighborhood kids a colorful pile to jump in...and memories that will last forever!

No need to worry about sprays or harsh chemicals with this USDA Organic tree. We know how hard you work to elevate your lifestyle...why should your landscape plants be any different?

Nature Hills is thrilled to offer so many organic choices...from fruiting trees to these amazing shade trees. Once mature, Scarlet Oak is well-known for its large acorns that have cute, deep caps.

This hardy tree makes a world of difference. With one planting decision, you'll help support the animals around you, and shade your family and friends with ease.

Scarlet Oak is blissfully fuss-free and grows in many soils, including those that remain dry periodically. After your tree gets established in the landscape, it becomes somewhat waterwise...although we do recommend you give it supplemental water to keep it happy and healthy.

It also features smooth grey-brown bark that becomes shallowly fissured with age. Reduce your cooling costs by planting one at the southwest corner of your property.

On a larger property, plant several or partner with other species to create a park-like setting. Scarlet Oak takes center stage during autumn with its vivid foliage.

Keep your camera ready and catalog the number of animals and birds you see. Scarlet Oak mast supports blue jays, woodpeckers, wild turkey, squirrels, chipmunks and deer.

This Scarlet Oak was grown without the use of neonicotinoids. Please place your order for USDA Organic Scarlet Oak from Nature Hills to support the Audubon Society with their mission-critical efforts.
