#ProPlantTips for Care:

Lavender grows best in full sun and well-drained soils, with neutral to alkaline pH, preferring an open, sunny spot. Highly drought-tolerant once established, water consistently to establish and after that, only water during extreme heat and drought. Deer and rabbit resistant, don't worry about them!

Trim back in spring to encourage bushier growth and remove any parts that died back during winter. Big Time should be pruned back the first year to encourage branching. To encourage blooms to return all summer, be sure to deadhead after flowering.

In cooler climates, it's recommended to plant Lavender in a sunny, south-facing area that's protected from the chill. These plants can even be brought indoors for the winter or into a greenhouse because they can be evergreen bushes in mild winters.

  • Full Sun
  • Very Well-Drained Soil
  • Moderate Moisture At First & Low Once Established
  • Deadhead After Flowers Fade & Prune Early Spring
  • Deer & Pests Seldom Bother Lavender
