An Admiring Sunset Happy Trails™ Rose

  • Groundcover Rose
  • Dynamic and Vivid Yellow to Pink Hues
  • A Rare and Showy Groundcover
  • Perfect for Unsightly Bare Spots or Slopes

Life’s too short for boring groundcovers. The Sunset Happy Trails™ Rose (Rosa x ‘WEKhaplamelba’) will brighten your day and your yard. This hardy and long-blooming rose will awaken your landscape with its delightful yellow blooms with honey-yellow centers.

The Sunset Happy Trails™ Rose is a groundcover rose that spreads and fills for a fun, bushy, and colorful garden bed. When late spring arrives, this cheerful rose lights up with semi-double bronzy-pink buds that soon open to sunshine yellow and mellow to a soft creamy yellow over time.

These golden blooms shine against forest green foliage and mustard yellow centers. While you can expect some color change, these roses resist spotting and complete color loss.

While its bountiful blooms will brighten your days, the Sunset Happy Trails™ Rose’s fruity fragrance will also boost your mood. It will also delight your local pollinators.

Are you ready to walk the path of carefree happiness? Then plant your Sunset Happy Trails™ wherever you want to add color, interest, and lush green to your garden. This low-growing rose with a unique spread habit is ideal for slopes, embankments, and unsightly areas of your garden. This trailing rose adds Old World charm when arranged around hardscaping and your favorite garden statues.

As a cultivar developed in 2016 by Christian Bedard, this yellow rose offers superior disease and pest resistance. It does prefer full sun and quick-draining, but rich, moist soil. Don't prune your Rose in fall or winter, but wait until spring just as the plants start to grow and then cut all branches down to 6-8 inches.

This cheerful rose will spread sunshine far and wide in your garden. If you’re looking for a groundcover that produces showy and abundant blooms--prepare for your very own Sunset Happy Trails™ today.
