This Summer Cascade™ Wisteria (Wisteria Macrostachya 'Betty Matthews') is a vine, but can be trained as a single stem Wisteria tree.
Planting and Application:
This unique Wisteria is a hardy version with dark lavender blue flowers that bloom in June.
- The lavender flowers bloom dark and fade as they open creating a mystic ombre look. They grow in bunches and when you see them all hanging, it looks like a magical forest.
- The foliage is a lovely bright green that looks amazing against the purple and blue tones.
- People use this twining vine to cover porches, pergolas, and trellises. Talk about a dream fairy garden!
- This vine or trained blue wisteria tree can grow from 15-20 feet in length and spreads 6-10 feet wide.
