Single Blue Freesia Fragrant and Refined

  • Late Spring Blooms
  • A Soft and Delightful Scent
  • Excellent Cut Flowers
  • Great in Containers

Single Blue Freesias are sweet, romantic, and lovely spring-blooming plants that add elegance to gardens, containers, and floral arrangements. Like other freesias, Single Blues offer a subtle yet charming scent that multiplies as their consecutive blooms open. These lovely violet flowers are adored for their pristine color and splendid multi-bloom racemes.

Single Blue Freesia are graceful and exquisite. They have mastered the art and aesthetic appeal of repetition. This pleasant variety blooms with multiple shoots of buds that take their turns opening to reveal trumpet-shaped blooms. Each Single Blue blossom features six petals with lilac to light lavender edges that melt to a white throat and glowing gold eye. To make their blooms even more distinct, their racemes arc high above their foliage.

These flowers are adored for their ability to extend the late spring blooming season. They're also cherished as cut flowers that will last for up to three weeks as their flowers slowly open from the base of their racemes to their tips.

Freesia are a spring staple. They are often considered one of the best flowers for flower arrangements and spring containers. Single Blue Freesia, like other freesia varieties, grows from delicate corms that survive warm winters in zone 9 and 10. Otherwise, we recommend using them in containers that can be brought indoors in other zones or used as annuals when planted in early spring.

These splendid purple flowers offer unique charm as front borders, in drifts, or as natural clumps. They bloom best in full sun with well-drained soil.

This spring classic is a must in spring gardens and containers. Let the Single Blue Freesia light up your spring with its inviting scent and refined beauty. Order yours now.

We will ship your bulbs based on the correct planting time for your area.
