Pollinators love this coastal beauty!!

Just like its name suggests, this flower is meant for the seashore. Seaside Daisy (Erigeron glaucus) is native to the West Coast from Oregon down to California. It thrives in beach gardens and on ocean-hugging cliffs, but with a little extra water it will work in a sunny San Francisco garden or a shady Los Angeles yard.

Soft pink daisy-like flowers cover this little flower bush all summer till the fall. Each flower has a huge central eye of the brightest chartreuse-yellow that really stands out. The plant only gets about a foot tall but spreads up to 3 feet, so it works well as a ground cover. In its native habitat it grows in the clay soil on ocean cliffs, so it will certainly thrive in your clay garden soil. It is perfect for edging a walkway to the beach or cascading over the edge of a pot on an oceanview patio or balcony.

Seaside Daisy is deer resistant, doesn’t mind salt spray, holds up to the steadiest winds and is drought tolerant to boot.

It is a magnet for native bees and butterflies so it will certainly set your garden humming with activity!

Add some laid-back beachy vibes to your garden with Seaside Daisy. It is easy-care and reliably perennial so it will reward you with seasons of easy-care color and seaside style. Order yours today!
