The Queen Elizabeth Rose Bush ('Rosa 'Queen Elizabeth') has been a wildly popular Rose for over 40 years! Producing exceptional, clear pink, perfectly-formed flowers. With almost silver pink highlights on the petal tips, these were inducted into the Rose Hall of Fame in 1979!

The blooms have a moderate fragrance that will perfume the air both indoors and out with a lovely Rose scent! Inhale this fantastic scent to relax the mind and the nerves! Large blooms that are double and are usually about 4 inches in diameter! The perfect landing pad for all your butterflies and local pollinators to grace their petals!

The flowers are borne on mostly solitary stems and can also appear in small clusters. You’ll have a wide range of stem lengths to fill your bud vases and bouquets with glorious blossoms!

The strong stems and clusters are accented by red stems and dark pink buds. The stems and foliage too, carry a reddish hue. Carried on upright stems, these bushy shrubs have long stems to display the bloom clusters aloft.

This Rose blooms in flushes throughout the season, so with minimal deadheading, you’ll enjoy wave after wave of blooms. The flowers appear on foliage that is glossy and dark green and is a fantastic backdrop for the blooms, as it is for other plants in your garden.

Disease-resistant and easy care, you’ll have little to worry about once this shrub has been established, providing you with years of blooms for your enjoyment!

How to Use Queen Elizabeth® Rose In The Landscape

Grandiflora Roses produce tall, elegant plants that bloom repeatedly during the season in clusters, providing you and your pollinators ample blooms throughout the entire summer! Crown your Perennial and Cottage gardens with this lovely blossom, or enliven a tired border.

The pink blossoms meld with almost every other flower color, highlighting your garden beds with impressive size, gorgeous foliage and wonderful fragrance. Tall enough to become a backdrop to mixed-shrub beds as well as the Rose garden to enhance other plants and shrubs throughout the year.

Tall enough and with enough pointed thorns to deter even the most desperate trespasser, this Rose creates fantastic hedges and property definition as well as screening! Honestly, they’ll be too distracted by the blooms to see anything beyond your hedge anyway!

Create a hedgerow or groupings for privacy around your patio and seating areas for a lavish private room away from prying eyes. You’ll gain a private, scented garden room where you can meditate and relax while surrounded by the bees and butterflies that drop by for a visit. The fragrance unwinds you after a stressful day.

Large enough to accent your front foundation plantings and soften your home’s corner. A garden shed with a sizeable beautiful Rose in full bloom becomes a focal point to your landscape.

Use this glorious shrub as a specimen plant or to backdrop a favorite urn or sculpture. Accenting any hard structure or other plantings with beauty!

Create a berm to further display this Rose by trimming up the canes to create a multi-stemmed Rose-tree form or leave it in its fully leafed out glory. Underplant with living mulch or groundcover in silver or pale lavenders and blues, or complementary colors of pink or white.

#ProPlantTips For Care

Roses need the full sun to really shine. For the most blooms, provide at least 6 hours of direct light a day, favoring the morning sun to dry their leaves of dew.

Hardy in USDA growing zones 6 through 11, this Rose tolerates humid climates and a touch of afternoon shade in the hottest hardiness zones to protect it from the relentless sun and heat. These are disease-resistant Rose selections and resistant to black spot.

Plant your shrub in an area with good air circulation, in very well enriched, well-drained soil. Preferring nutrient-rich soil, amended with plenty of compost and organic matter. Fertilize your Rose 2-3 times a year with Rose fertilizer for the healthiest shrub possible.

Water regularly, yet moderately to maintain a consistently moist environment. Roses despise soggy conditions, so if poor drainage is suspected, plant your shrub in a mounded berm to raise it above the water table.

Mulch your Roses root system generously, not allowing it to pile up against the crown. Spread out the mulch past the ends of the leaves to maintain moisture levels in the soil, meaning you will water less often, but also provide a layer of insulation to keep the roots cool in the summer’s heat and protect them from the chill.

Prune your Rose in the very early spring before you see new growth. Trim the canes back as far as 6 - 8 inches above the crown for a renewed flush of growth each year.

Deadhead spent blooms to encourage your shrub to continue blooming. You may have your Rose take a break in the hottest part of the summer, but once cooler temperatures return, so will your blooms.

If you’re looking for a gorgeous clear pink flower with lush foliage, then the Queen Elizabeth® Rose Bush is for you! This Rose has been an enthusiast’s and collector’s favorite for decades and you’ll join the long list of admirers when you order this incredible Rose bush today from NatureHills.com!
