Among the best bi-color Roses available, the Gemini™ Hybrid Tea Rose (Rosa 'Jacnepal') is an award-winning, Hybrid Tea Rose variety with bi-tone color. Just as the Gemini™ Zodiac signifies twins, your Gemini™ Hybrid Tea Rose features a dual nature in its remarkable blend of colors. The creamy, double blooms appear in early summer with raspberry-kissed edges that age over time to shades of coral pink.

The fragrance combined with the effect of the transitioning colors is stunning on the large, double blossoms that have a petal count of 30 or more. Cut a few, or enjoy them in the yard, as they repeat their luscious bloom throughout summer and even into fall.

An All-America Rose Selections (AARS) Winner 2000, the glossy, dark green foliage and stems add the perfect framework for this remarkable Hybrid Tea Rose variety. It has an upright form and a vigorous growth rate. Gemini™ is also disease resistant! Hardy throughout USDA growing zones 5 to 9, these shorter-than-wide shrubs grow 3-4 feet tall and spread 4-5 feet wide.

Planting and Application:

Gemini™ Roses have a subtle fragrance that is pleasingly sweet, an added treat to the already captivating beauty of the blooms, and a strong draw for your yard's pollinators. Sprinkle a few through your mixed border, or perhaps your cutting garden. Gemini™ will ensure a steady source of exquisite flowers for your home all summer long!

Create a raised berm in your front yard to highlight this unique spectacle a bit higher! Place these beauties where they'll deliver maximum impact in your landscape. You'll want to both see and smell them. Cottage gardens, cut flower borders and a prominent place by your front steps are ideal locations to best showcase this gorgeous two-tone bloom!

Hybrid Tea Roses make a wonderful grouping, especially when used in an odd-numbered group of 3, 5, or 7. Create a curved garden bed around your patio, so you won't miss a moment! They look great in a small informal bed, or in formal rows. Your butterflies will feel underdressed when they drop by to sip the nectar!

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Hybrid Tea Roses produce the most flowers in well-drained, rich soils in full sun. Roses also appreciate having a 3-4 inch thick layer of arborist mulch covering the soil to keep the foliage clean and disease-free while holding moisture more consistently while insulating the roots. Watering your Roses should be done at the soil level, keeping the leaves dry for best results. Water regularly, especially throughout the hot summer months. Provide good air circulation and a location with the morning sun to dry their leaves. For more about pruning Roses, winterizing Roses, and un-wintering Roses in spring in our #ProPlantTips Garden Blog! Growing Hybrid Tea Roses in zones colder than zone 7 should be mounded with 8-12 inches of mulch in late fall after frost kills the foliage.
