Incredible Fragrant Cloud Hybrid Tea Rose (Rosa TANellis') offers captivating deep coral red-orange blooms that stay vibrant and rebloom continuously. Oversized, double blooms are high-centered and well-shaped and feature up to 30 petals apiece.

But it's the marvelous Fragrant Cloud Rose perfume that earns it top reviews. People just like you can count on the heady citrusy-spicy-sweetness in cut arrangements and in the garden from USDA Growing Zones 6 - 9.

Hybridized in 1968 by Matius Tantau, Jr. of Germany, Fragrant Cloud Rose bush was bred from 'Prima Ballerina' and was voted into the Rose Hall of Fame for it's intoxicating scent and stylish hue. This upright cultivar is very quick to rebloom against a backdrop of rich, glossy, dark green leaves.

Planting and Application:

Add Fragrant Cloud Rose for color and scent in a place you'll be able to appreciate it. This engaging plant turns heads in a delightful summer display.

Use one as a specimen plant to study. Fragrant Cloud Roses can be grown in containers, so it's easy to decorate your patio with the lavish coral-red blooms.

  • Fragrant Cloud Rose needs at least six hours of sunlight a day to encourage reblooming flushes.
  • For the longest stems, fertilize in spring with a Rose formula and reapply according to the directions.

Snip those gorgeous blooms at a 45-degree angle with sharp bypass pruners and quickly plunge the stems into water.

  • Arrange them in your vase with bare lower stems. Remove the lower leaves below the water line, but keep a few sprays near the blooms for a soft filler.
  • Remove the outer guard petals to allow the luxuriant blooms to open indoors. A single bloom will add a fabulous damask-tangerine fragrance anywhere you place it!

#ProPlantTips for Care:

All Roses need full sun, well-drained soil and good air circulation, and Fragrant Cloud Rose bush is no exception. Choose your planting site with care and you'll reap the rewards with their heavenly scent!

  • Use Nature Hills Root Booster in the planting hole. This symbiotic formula works to support the tiny feeder roots over the whole life of your Rose bush. It can also be used as a top-dressing for mature Roses.
  • Give supplemental water on a regular basis. Mulch over the top of the root system to keep weeds at bay; then pull it back away from the stems.
  • Bag and remove the fallen foliage in fall. Prune your Roses down to six inches from the ground in early spring as you start to see new signs of life.
