Add a vital accent to your landscape with Ringo All-Star™ ShrubRose (Rosa x 'ChewEyesUp'). You'll be thrilled with the sheer exuberance of this compact, colorful choice! Talented Ringo All-Star™ puts on a tremendous show all on the same plant. Over time, the flowers transition into an encore production of lavender petals and pink centers.
Streamlined single blooms look fresh and modern. Large buds open into a delicious melon color encircled around a dusky red center and sunny yellow stamens. The self-cleaning flowers start coming early and don't quit until frost! Ringo All-Star™ sets the stage in your landscape with glossy, green foliage and an upright form.
You won't believe your eyes! Why settle for a single colorway, when you can have a rainbow of hues all season long? Butterflies also approve of this top-rated selection and pollinators prefer single-style flowers because they are easier to land on! Growing to a small-scale size of 2-3 feet in height and width, any sized garden can accommodate these fantastic Landscaping Shrub Roses!
You'll love their handsome good looks and super-showy flowers. No need to worry about black spot or powdery mildew with the high-performance genetics of this modern choice. Hardy throughout chilly USDA growing zones 4 to 8, these are fantastically easy to grow Rose Shrubs! This Proven Winners® selection is also field-tested for durable performance.
Try a cute hedge in your courtyard as a fresh take on foundation plantings. Count on Ringo All-Star™ to re-imagine a tired landscaping scheme. Dress them up, or down with your styling choices. They'll look perfectly at home with homespun Prairie-style perennials like Coneflower, Rudbeckia and Shasta Daisy. Pick out one or more of their beautiful tones to play off of in a memorable partnership. Try the coral-colored blooms of Anna's Promise or the rich hues of Hot Cocoa Rose!
With proper care, you'll have many years of enjoyment, whether you keep them in a container or grow them in the ground. Grow them in oversized outdoor pots to perk up a balcony. Small space gardens demand hard-working plants that offer extended bloom and a long season of interest. Pop them on the sunny side of mature evergreens in a new mulched garden bed. Create a natural drift or rows, or group plants for larger pops of color!
This is a wonderful choice to use in a mixed garden bed because the multi-colored flowers keep the visual interest high, even during those times when other flowers are fading. Of course, you could also simply install a dynamic low hedge or mass planting of Ringo All-Star™ Rose. Allow them to steal the show as an ever-changing garden feature.
Take time during planting to achieve the results you want. Landscaping Roses need a site that receives at least six hours of direct sunlight a day. They love consistent water, but the soil needs to be well-drained. Elevate the planting with additional soil in a raised mound, or keep them in containers if you have soggy, waterlogged soil.
Feed Roses high-quality, slow-release fertilizer and use 3-4 inches of arborist mulch to help the root system remain cool and moist. Learn about winterizing, and un-wintering your Roses in our Garden Blog, plus all the tips and tricks you need when pruning your new prize Rose bush!

Rose shrubs need a protected location and prefer full sun and favor the drying power of the morning sun and flower best in at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day. Choose a location in good, enriched soil that drains well and has good air circulation.
You can plant Roses any time if you are able to provide enough consistent moisture and attention. While there is not a specific month that is best, generally because it changes with temperatures, climate and growing zone. However, the easiest times of the year to get Rose bushes established in your landscape are in spring after the last frost date, and in fall about 4-6 weeks before the first frost.
Rose bushes are deciduous woody perennial shrubs and will return bigger and better each year.
