Rhododendron Cunningham's Blush

Out of stock
Rhododendron - Cunningham's Blush, Rhododendron x 'Cunningham's Blush', is a dense, slow growing, small evergreen shrub with a mounded, compact habit. Cunningham’s Blush is a highly valued ornamental with large trusses of showy blush pink flowers with a white blotch; a beautiful contrast to the very dark green leaves. Being a dependable bloomer, Cunningham’s Blush prefers some shade and a highly organic acid soil that is evenly moist, but well drained. It gradually forms a medium to tall upright shrub with long glossy dark green leaves. This easy care rhododendron attracts butterflies and is deer resistant. Use in the landscape, border, or in a woodland garden. This plant needs excellent drainage and mulching. Roots will rot in poorly drained soil, so well-drained soil is a must! Rhododendrons are ornamental, acidic-soil loving broad-leaf evergreens. The most favorable time to prune is when there are no flower buds in the early spring, just before growth begins.
