Planting Pros Recommend:

Dare to take your garden design to the extreme with up to 75 petals per very double bloom! Incredibly showy dark lavender roses cover the magnificent Floribunda Plum Perfect Sunbelt® Rose (Rosa 'Korvodacom' PP 22,691).

Sunbelt Plum Perfect Rose is an opulent, heat-loving selection developed by Kordes® and expertly grown by the Rosarians at NatureHills.com. Star Roses® has selected Plum Perfect as part of their Bloomables® collection of best flowering shrubs that are easy to grow and offer high reward with lavish, intensely-hued flowers from late spring through fall.

Planting and Application:

Plum Perfect Sunbelt Rose is a Floribunda, and produces an abundance of short, pointed buds in clusters at the end of the strong stems. You and your garden guests will be dazzled as they open up into an abundance of moderately reflexed, ruffled petals.

  • You'll enjoy the heavy bloom production for indoor cut flower arrangements. Cut one or two clusters at a 45-degree angle for a wildly decorative bouquet; and you'll encourage a faster recurrent flush!
  • Reimagine the sunny side of mature evergreens with a mass planting of these extravagant blooms; or mix with our other purple Roses. Create a raised bed to make it easy to plant and maintain your collection!
  • Try growing upright Plum Perfect Sunbelt Rose in patio containers to decorate your terrace, porch or balcony. They'll make you happy for years with proper care!
  • Mix them into your Butterfly Garden and borders. Use them to face dark foliage shrubs like Purely Purple® Black Diamond® Crape Myrtle; or Diabolo Ninebark.
  • These compact plants make a dynamic low hedge spaced 18 inches apart on center. Add another row, staggered in a zig-zag for a solid display along your garden path or front walk.

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Place Roses in full sun with at least six hours of sunlight. They also need well-drained soil; as their root systems don't tolerate standing water.

  • Provide a life-long support with symbiotic Nature Hills Root Booster formula in the planting hole. Get expert planting tips from our Nature Hills Horticulture team.
  • Provide Roses with a consistent schedule of water. Feed these rebloomers with supplemental Rose fertilizer according to the label directions.
  • Each year in autumn, rake and bag fallen leaf litter for the yard waste. Prune all the canes down to six inches in early spring for a fresh start to your growing season.
