Phlox Snowflake

Phlox Snowflake, Phlox subulata 'Snowflake', produces aromatic, bright, and showy long-lasting flowers.

Often called Creeping Phlox, it is a very versatile, low-growing perennial with striking and fragrant trumpet-shaped flower clusters that bloom profusely in late spring.

Snowflake delivers a spectacular display of color when blooming; grows well in rocky or sloped areas. The pure white flowers of this creeping phlox can be used to give a classic elegant look when surrounded by greenery or for contrast among colors.

Garden phlox is one of the most recognizable and widely grown perennials and is the backbone of the summer perennial border; a great perennial for open sunny locations.

This Native American perennial attracts butterflies and hummingbirds and works well in container or patio pots, but is often used as a ground cover, an edging plant or for planting in cracks and walls.

Fertilize every 4 months and plant in a sunny spot with well-drained soil and prune after flowering for a healthier plant.

Snowflake is an outstanding plant to use with your spring flowering bulbs such as tulips and daffodils!
