Choose these dressy All-American Rose Selection winners for your landscape and enjoy their perfect form, citrus scent, and outstanding lemony-buttery color! Beautiful Oregold Hybrid Tea Rose (Rosa 'TANolg') blooms start as very large, long buds that unfurl into high-centered, double blooms with up to 25 reflexed petals apiece!

Hybridized by Mathias Tantau, Jr., the reblooming Oregold blooms bring living sunshine to your garden! You might hear this lavish Rose called 'Anneliese Rothenberger', the European homage to the famous opera singer. The buttery yellow blossoms will sing in bouquets and create an Aria of their own on this shrub nearly all growing season!

Oregold Rose is a vigorous, upright bush with small, dark green, glossy foliage...a perfect foil for the golden blooms. Oregold is a fantastic modern Rose and displays very good disease resistance to common concerns like blackspot and powdery mildew. Thriving throughout USDA planting zones 6 to 10, this Hybrid Tea is easy to grow!

Planting and Application:

The soft Rose scent that drifts from this Hybrid Tea is just a bonus! Add this pastel buttery beauty to your Rose Gardens and Cottage Gardens in the sun, as focal points in a front yard berm, or buttering up your guests around an outdoor garden room! Pollinators will adore the blooms and Oregold is a mainstay in Cutting Gardens!

Even large planters and container gardens can enjoy these 3-5 foot tall flowering shrubs! Roses can be grown in outdoor patio pots for many years. Go ahead and downsize without fear of losing your precious Hybrid Tea Roses! Try one or more near your patio seating, or as living decoration flanking either side of an entrance to your sunny front porch, or marking the start of a pathway!

Place Oregold Tea Rose plants front and center in a place of honor in your landscape! Oregold stays deep yellow in cool conditions and warms to buff when the sun gets hot. Grow Blue Girl Hybrid Tea Rose as a high-contrast companion.

The size and shape of this flowering shrub make it ideal as a barrier hedge that few will want to tangle with due to the thorns. Create pretty property division to screen your front yard from the street, or add buttery color around seating areas and firepits!

Gift these cheerful blossoms to someone fighting an illness or as a pick-me-up for the cost of a high-end bouquet of cut flowers! This means years of their own bouquets right out of their own backyard! Who can feel down or morose with a yellow Rose nearby? Use several to anchor a lovely new garden bed, spacing them at least three feet apart.

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Rose Bushes need full sun, at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day, and appreciate the drying power of the morning sun with good air circulation. Plant Roses in enriched, well-drained soil. Water new plants regularly so they do not dry out between waterings to support the blooms. You can either install underground irrigation or only water at the root zone and keep excess moisture off the leaves to discourage disease.

Use 3-4 inches of arborist mulch to help keep the roots moist and protected. Applying 3-4 inches of arborist mulch also prevents mud and water from splashing the foliage. Apply Rose fertilizer 2-3 times a year for best results according to package directions. Growing Hybrid Tea Roses in zones colder than zone 7 should be mounded with 8-12 inches of mulch in late fall for best overwintering.

Prune canes to 6 - 8 inches above the crown in early spring. Read all you need about pruning Roses Here, winterizing your Roses Here, and un-wintering Roses in Spring in our #ProPlantTips Garden Blog! Don't forget the Nature Hills Root Booster, to give this fragrant Rose life-long support when used during planting!
