#ProPlantTips for Care:

Coral Bells are cold-hardy throughout USDA growing zones 4 to 9, and are easy to grow for even the most novice gardener! These ornamental Perennials do well in full sun in the cooler climates, and in partial shade everywhere. Plant in enriched, well-drained soil with regular moisture to keep Coral Bells happy, and water them well in the heat of summer and the winter months. They can tolerate full shade in the hottest of growing zones! Be careful not to bury the plant too deeply...keep the crowns up high with about an inch of nursery dirt showing above ground. A 3-4 inch thick layer of mulch helps retain soil moisture as well as insulate the root system.

It will do best with a moderate amount of water on a regular basis. Northern Exposure™ Purple Coral Bells are easy enough for beginners to grow, as well! Add a three-inch layer of mulch to cover the base, but pull it back away from directly touching the stems. In spring, gently pull the old or winter-damaged leaves away and you'll be ready for a dazzling new season.

  • Tolerates All Sun Conditions from Full Sun to Full Shade
