The Naranja Amaryllis (Amaryllis 'Naranja') is a gorgeous tropical dark orange bloom with enormous open trumpet-shaped petals. The multiple blooms per sturdy stem, the huge blossoms glow each winter, just in time for the holiday season!

Backed up by a fan of bright green strappy leaves that sprout fast from the large bulb. The sword-like green leaves are perfect for showcasing these enormous flowers and they look gorgeous on their own even when not in bloom.

Naranja Amaryllis is a tropical flowering bulb that can be forced indoors for stunning winter décor or planted outside in USDA growing zones 9 to 10. Cooler climates can plant Naranja bulbs outside but they will need to be lifted and stored indoors in a cool dark location for the winter like Dahlia and Canna Lily.

Planting and Application:

When in bloom, these are dramatic specimens in patio containers or create groupings of multiple Naranja as the main feature for eye-catching displays! In warm growing zones, Amaryllis is a fantastic focal point in the garden or container garden during the spring or summer and attracts pollinators when planted in the bed and border.

Add these exotic bloomers to your porch pots and or group multiple Amaryllis together for eye-catching displays throughout your home, porch or patio! Naranja Amaryllis are long-lasting shockingly orange blooms, and the strappy green foliage shines in a bright, sunny window! Your holiday interiorscapes will light up with this gorgeous, unusual flowering décor!

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Preferring full sun outdoors and bright indirect light indoors, Amaryllis bulbs should be planted in enriched, well-drained soil, pointed end up, with the neck and top third of the bulb above the soil, then water and mulch well. Disliking soggy locations, water sparingly to ensure the bulb has just enough moisture to grow. Amaryllis should be dead-headed as soon as the blooms fade, but the foliage looks handsome all growing season! Keep the handsome foliage intact and place them in a bright sunny window to make food for the bulb.

  • Full Sun & Partial Shade
  • Moderately Moist Well-Drained Organic Soil
  • Deadhead After Bloom & Clean Mound When Leaves Yellow
  • Appreciates Mulched Beds Outdoors
  • Dislikes Soggy Soil
