#ProPlantTips for Care:

This Serviceberry grows 18-25 feet tall and 12-18 feet wide when planted properly in full sun to partial shade where they get at least six hours of sunlight a day. Preferring enriched well-drained soil, and a 3-4 inch thick layer of arborist mulch to hold in moisture and insulate the roots from the cold winters. We highly recommend the use of Nature Hills Root Booster during planting to create a symbiotic relationship with tiny feeder roots that never "wears out".

This deciduous tree is rather low-maintenance and has all of its native roots in terms of hardiness, adaptability, and versatility! Wait to Prune until after the flowers are done. Use a light hand while pruning, and develop a plan before you get started for best results. You can renewal prune to maintain vigor by removing the oldest, fattest stems and least productive older branches out at the base of the plant. Remove no more than a third of the plant at a time every 3-5 years.
