Tiny Todd Asiatic Lily
Dwarf Lily with Pink Flowers
Tiny Todd is a dwarf variety of Asiatic Lily with large, pastel pink flowers. These are particular suited to containers, and look their best when planted en masse. You could also place a few at the front of a border where their diminutive size would be used to best advantage.
Your Tiny Todd fits its name well, reaching only 23 inches in height, a perfect fit for all your small garden spaces. However, even though short of stature, Tiny Todd’s bloom is certainly as impressive as those of the taller varieties.
The pink-hued, white flowers appear in mid-summer, their large blooms facing upward atop the dark green stalks. Each petal has a white base with soft pink flowing out to the tips, creating an effect that is elegant and refined.
You can leave them to bloom freely and enjoy the butterflies and hummingbirds who come in for a quick taste, or cut some to bring indoors. The blossoms make excellent cut flowers, the large flower heads filling out a bouquet with ease.
As with other Asiatic Lily varieties, Tiny Todd is a pleasure to own and a breeze to care for. Simply plant it in a sunny location with average moisture and forget about it. It will consistently perform year after year with little or no care required from you.
Tiny Todd is heat tolerant and the flowers are long-lived. Its hardy nature and lovely blooms are sure to serve you well for years to come.
