Maiden's Blush Lilac

Out of stock
The Lilac 'Maiden's Blush', Syringa X hyacinthiflora 'Maiden's Blush', is an early flowering, single-petaled variety with light pink to lavender-pink, fragrant blooms; tendency to display different shades of pink depending upon soil conditions and climate. 'Maiden's Blush' is one of the first lilacs to bloom. This rounded, deciduous shrub has dark green foliage that makes a lovely contrast against the light blooms. The heart-shaped leaves do not develop any appreciable fall color. This lilac prefers well drained soil and will tolerate poor soil conditions and harsh winters. 'Maiden's Blush' is perfect as an accent shrub in the garden, back of a border, or use in mass to create a flowering hedge. It should only be pruned after flowering to avoid removing any of the current season's flowers. It is a good choice for attracting butterflies; deer resistant.
