Like it's namesake, Ingrid Bergman™ Hybrid Tea Rose Tree (Rosa 'POUlman' PP# 6,264) dazzles with impeccable poise, grace and polished style. No wonder it was given the Award of Garden Merit given by the Royal Horticultural Society and named "the World's Best Rose" by the World Federation of Rose Societies!

Velvety, dark red roses feature up to 35 petals each; and are held singly or with side buds on long, strong stems. Ingrid Bergman Rose has a moderate fragrance, but let's face it...they are grown for their exhibition form and fresh cut flower arrangements.

Planting and Application:

This generous Rose reblooms all season from late spring to fall, once they are established. Watch as the dark, high-centered, pointed buds open into an outstanding vibrant red color...one of the very best red Rose available worldwide.

  • Anywhere you grow Ingrid Bergman Rose becomes a Cutting Garden. Plant one as a specimen in a Zen Garden if you have enough discipline to stop with a single plant.
  • Create a very showy backdrop for your dinner parties in an outdoor dining room. Plant a pair flanking either side of the entryway to elevate your guests' experience of destination.
  • Add a garden feature by simply removing some lawn, adding a border and mulching the new bed. Plant an odd number of Roses in a curve; or use a symmetrical even number around a beautiful bird bath or garden sculpture.
  • Give Ingrid Bergman Rose bushes for Valentine's Day, along with a cute pair of garden gloves and a crystal vase. Your sweetheart will enjoy many years of lavish bouquets...all grown at home.
  • Heat-tolerant and disease resistant Ingrid Bergman isn't a fussy, old-fashioned Hybrid Tea. Dark green foliage stays clean without a rigorous spray routine; especially when given optimal growing conditions.

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Plant Roses in full sun where they will receive at least six hours of sunlight a day to produce those magnificent blooms. Provide well-drained soil and good air circulation, as well.

  • Add symbiotic Nature Hills Root Booster formula to the planting hole to give a life-long benefit for your Hybrid Tea Roses. Get expert planting tips from our Nature Hills Horticulture team.
  • When the weather is dry, apply a consistent schedule of supplemental water on a regular basis, especially with container-grown plants. Pamper these reblooming Roses with high-quality fertilizer according to the label directions.
  • In fall, rake and bag fallen leaf litter to place in the yard waste. Each year in early spring, prune all the canes down to six inches for a spectacular showing during the growing season.
