Very cold-hardy in USDA growing zones 3-8, Panicle Hydrangeas are very adaptable to heat, cold and weather conditions.

Planting and Application:

PeeGee flowers are good for drying and preserving, so they're ideal in cutting gardens and areas you need high-impact summer blooms and long-lasting winter interest. #ProPlantTips for Care:

Panicle Hydrangea does best in full sun and partial shade, favoring morning sun. If you are in the hottest of its favored growing zones, provide afternoon shade from the brunt of the summer sun. Keep the soil moderately moist and top dress with 3-4 inches of arborist mulch chips. You may prune every year, for size and to remove old growth, but no more than 1/3 of the plant. Only prune in the very early spring or you’ll accidentally remove next year's blooms! These plants look best when they are kept pruned to keep them thick at the base. They are hardy and will not need to be covered to flower. PeeGee is easy to grow and they will tolerate less than ideal soil conditions.
