The Kopper King Hardy Hibiscus (Hibiscus x moscheutos 'Kopper King') has some of the biggest flowers available on the perennial market today. They commonly grow to dinner plate size - a foot or more across! These Hollyhock-like flowers have five petals and come in shades of light pink, with red central eyes and red veins throughout the petals.

Pollinators will come from far and wide to sip nectar, and Hummingbirds will appreciate the elongated tubular stamen that acts as a perch while they visit each of the prolific blooms! Not only will Kopper King become smothered completely in huge flowers, but new blossoms keep popping up all summer until frost!

These pink flowers stand out like beacons against the deep copper-red serrated foliage, too! Growing into a neat-looking 3-4 foot tall and wide mound, Kopper King is fast-growing and space-saving without ever looking leggy! These Rose-Mallow hybrid Hibiscus are considered Hardy Hibiscus, meaning that they grow in colder weather areas throughout USDA growing zones 4 to 9. This Hardy Perennial Hibiscus won't fade or shrink in the summer sun!

Planting and Application:

These aren't the tropical Hibiscus that are synonymous with Honolulu or Miami. These root-hardy perennials don't shy away from the cold and can be enjoyed in most gardens across the US every year! Coming back bigger and better each spring! Still becoming incredible tropical specimens for your landscape without moving somewhere with Palm Trees!

Perfectly sized as low backdrops, property division, and planter thrillers, these mid-sized Hibiscus are full and bushy! Add color and bulk to a mixed-shrub border, to screening hedges, or as colorful seasonal privacy around seating areas, as exotic elements around the pool, and easy décor around outdoor garden rooms! Kopper King fills in fast and brings bold contrasting hues to the sunny landscape without any effort at all!

  • Massive Foot Wide Pink & White Blooms
  • Eye-Catching Copper-Red Foliage
