Helleborus Pink Parachutes

Out of stock
Helleborus Pink Parachutes, Helleborus 'Pink Parachutes', has deep pink flowers that are over 3" across and grow atop strong, thick stems. Pink Parachutes belongs to the Winter Thrillers™ Series of Helleborus. These charming bright pink blooms are softly speckled with tiny dark pink to wine colored spots on the petals. The back of the flower petals are covered with pink or white which gives the flower a two- toned appearance. The Pink Parachutes flower appears in early spring and can be planted as a border, en masse, or in containers. It is great for the beginner gardener because of its low-maintenance and is disease/pest-free. In the spring, simply trim back last year's foliage. Pink Parachutes prefer rich, moist, organic soil, but will also grow in sandy or clay soil; can tolerate short bouts of drought. This plant needs good drainage and fertile humus rich soil; use in mixed beds or as an understory. It is deer resistant and poisonous to humans.
