Helleborus Golden Lotus

Out of stock
Helleborus Golden Lotus, Helleborus 'Golden Lotus', is an elegant and charming flower that was created by one of the world’s top hybridizers, Marietta O'Byrne. Golden Lotus creates a golden glow when the double soft-yellow lotus-like flowers bloom; some of these Helleborus flowers will have red edges and red streaking on the backs. This flower appears in early spring and can be planted as a border, en masse, or in containers. It is great for the beginner gardener because of its low-maintenance and is disease/pest-free. In the spring, simply trim back last year's foliage. Golden Lotus prefers rich, moist, organic soil, but will also grow in sandy or clay soil; can tolerate short bouts of drought. This plant needs good drainage and fertile humus rich soil; also use in mixed beds or as an understory. These plants are deer resistant and poisonous to humans.
