Heavenly Bamboo Moyer's Red

Out of stock
Heavenly Bamboo - Moyer's Red, Nandina domestica Moyer's Red, has much to offer! Reaching up to approximately 6 feet in height at maturity, 'Moyer's Red bears pink to white flowers in spring and the conical panicles are up to 16 inches long with small star-shaped, white flowers with large, yellow anthers. Fine purple-red foliage adds superior fall color to a landscape. The red berry-like clusters are persistent through winter, and can be used in arrangements or eaten by birds. This is an upright ever green shrub that keeps a neat and tidy look if its foliage is selectively pruned by staggering the heights of each cane. Moyer’s Red can be used as a container plant, as a hedge or foundation, but looks brilliant in the fall if planted in groupings.
