Bi-color mid-spring beauties! The Golden Fragrance Grape Hyacinth (Muscari 'Golden Fragrance') features upright clusters of pale lemon yellow bells with purple edges before changing ombre-style into pale lavender bells at the top! Blooming from the bottom to the tip, these are especially fragrant two-tone blooms that are long-lasting from start to finish!

Golden Fragrance Muscari has the family foliage and naturalizing nature and creates clumps just 4-5 inches in height but rambling or spreading readily throughout the landscape when allowed. These scented little spring-flowering blooms are lovely in little bouquets and nosegays, and outdoors feed some of the earliest emerging pollinators!

Golden Fragrance Grape Hyacinth sends up a lovely bunch of greenery and each small bulb produces a single bloom. Hardy and low-maintenance throughout USDA growing zones 5 to 9 and shining in the full sun. These fast-growing little perennial bulbs are among the first to arrive on the scene!

Planting and Application:

Use Golden Fragrance for mass displays or in smaller clumps. You and all your neighbors will love them either way! Even container gardeners can enjoy these darling little blooms. Perfectly sized to tuck into your planters and patio pots. Indoors, you can force these lovely pastel yellow and purple bulbs in a shallow dish or container for winter décor!

Grape Hyacinth looks lovely when you line your garden beds as early spring, fragrant edging or popping up throughout your Rock gardens and Perennial beds. Also perfectly sized for indoor gardening, forcing, as gifts, and balconies! Muscari multiply rapidly yet politely, so are an excellent selection for naturalizing! Why not mix drifts of Golden Fragrance with other Muscari and let them loose into your lawn with Crocus or Squills?

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Muscaris are easy to grow! They like early spring rains and water when the skies don't open up. While these bloom best in full sun, planting them under trees can be a great idea as the bulbs will bloom before the trees leaf out. Then, once the blooming is done, the shade of the trees can protect the bulb's foliage, giving the bulb more energy for next year's stunning blossoms! Fall-planted bulbs need well-drained soil with moderate moisture needs. Any soil type is suitable so long as it is not soggy and add bulb fertilizer to each hole for best results. Their blooms last for weeks and they naturalize and spread over time unless you deadhead after the flowers fade.

  • Full Sun For Strongest Growth
  • Well-Drained Soil
  • Moderate Moisture Needs
  • Deadhead After Flowers Fade & Prune Mounds After Leaves Yellow
  • Deer Seldom Bother Them

Sweetly fragrant and pastel ombre blooms, the Golden Fragrance Grape Hyacinth adds unique beauty to the Muscari family with its yellow and purple two-tone blossoms! Nature Hills ships your bulbs based on the correct planting time for your growing zone!
